My book 'Splendours of royal Mysore--the untold story of the Wodeyars' was launched recently. I could almost completely relate to the 'brain-dead' state of an author on the launch day and the compelling need to make a speech as well ! I must admit i havent yet read the book but given its subject and the fact that i too feel very strongly abt this need to ensure we dont lose all that is so unqiue to us as a state, a community; would certainly pick up a copy and read it !!
